How to Use AI for SOP Creation

Subtrak’s AI-powered SOP creation tool helps you quickly draft detailed standard operating procedures for your tasks.

Updated over a week ago
  1. Open the Task Details Modal

To use the AI feature, you must be in the Task Details Modal. You can access this modal by:

  2. Click the 'Apply AI' Button

In the Task Details Modal, locate and click the Apply AI button. This will expand the modal to reveal the AI input pane.

  3. Provide Input for the AI

You have multiple options to input details for your SOP:

    Type or Paste Text

    • Enter detailed instructions directly into the AI input pane.

    • You can also copy and paste content from another source.

    Use Speech-to-Text

    • Click the Microphone button to start recording your instructions.

    • Speak naturally, providing as much detail as possible about the process.

    • Click the microphone again to stop recording, and your speech will automatically convert to text.

💡 Tip: The more detailed your input, the better the AI-generated SOP will be.

  4. Submit Your Input

After entering or recording your input, click the Submit button. Subtrak’s AI will process your request and generate SOP details tailored to your instructions.

  5. Review and Refine the AI-Generated SOP

Once the AI generates the SOP, you can:

    • Accept the changes if they meet your needs.

    • Edit the output directly in the modal to refine the details further.

    • Discard the changes and try again with a new or revised input.

  6. Save Your SOP

When satisfied with the SOP, click Save to finalize the changes. Your updated task details will be stored in the Tasks page and associated workflows.

Additional Tips for Success
